work in progress...

I'm working on a king size quilt for my bedroom, and in the past two days I've been cutting some beautiful fabric.

See the little block? That's the prototype of one of the blocks.


This quilt is the first I'm going to quilt properly. I'm determined to work well and plan ahead. But... I didn't cut the blocks with size in mind. Nope. I'm going to attach my crazy blocks one at a time and add whatever it takes to get to the proper size.

I tend to be a little obsessed with the math thing... and I don't want to be carried away with the numbers and miss the joy of the actual work.
